A FULL UK HIGHER EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY

The NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars, the only NFL team committed to playing in London annually, and Official UK Founding Partner LGT Wealth Management US have created a unique new university scholarship opportunity, the Gridiron Grant. This is a first of its kind sports scholarship programme in the UK, offering a full university tuition scholarship to two students (male/female/non binary) to any UK university or vocational programme of their choice.

The ethos of giving back to the community is entrenched within both LGT and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Both see the Gridiron Grant as the perfect opportunity to give something back to the American football community within the UK and to further its progression as a sport. The Jacksonville Jaguars and LGT are looking for anyone who has participated in the JagTag programme, played for a BAFA team or who have been involved in American football in their community each year and with a passion for American football to apply for the Gridiron Grant.

Applications for the 2023 LGT Gridiron Grant will be launching in March.
How are Grants selected?

After applications close, a shortlist of finalists will be compiled. From this shortlist, a panel of experts from LGT, Jaguars and a qualified educator will select the two winners based on a range of criteria such as academic achievement, participation in American football, commitment to their community and a demonstration of personal endeavor.
