Established in 2018 The Gridiron Grant is the first of its kind sports scholarship which offers full university tuition to two students to any UK university or vocational programme of choice.
The Gridiron Grant is eligible to any young person who is part of either a JagTag or JagTag Xtra Time programme, or that are associated with a UK BAFA team and aged 18 (Year 13). Applications are invited from anywhere in the Country and all further education courses or vocational programmes are included as part of the scholarship fund available.
Two winners are selected each year via a detailed application and interview process involving a panel from a qualified educator, the Jaguars U.K. team and LGT Wealth Management. A range of criteria will be assessed including a commitment to the pursuit of further education or training, along with an overall desire to achieve success in their chosen field.
Along with demonstrating a participation in American Football and a commitment to community and personal endeavour, all applications are measured and assessed, determining the outcome and finding the successful applicants.
