JAGUARS UK NEWSROOM

Hello and welcome to the Jaguars UK newsletter.

Well, no denying it’s been a tough few weeks for us on the field with results not going our way. Very frustrating considering the momentum we built up following our back-to-back wins in London.  However, we are still in a good position going into the final games of the season and remain hopeful for the playoffs.

In other news, we have been busy behind the scenes planning for the new year and all the great events and activities we are thinking about for you, our loyal fanbase.  Who is up for Sunday Watch Parties across the nation in 2024?  Watch parties will be a focus for us and creating great experiences for Jags fans to get together and enjoy watching us play throughout the season.

We will hopefully have some exciting news about our 2024 Draft pick coming soon. You’ll remember Luke Fortner came over last year for a quick visit and took part in a community event and a specialist clinic run in coordination with BAFA, prior to making our fourth-round pick live from Craven Cottage stadium, with Fulham Captain Tim Ream. Not only was that beamed live into Draft coverage in the US, but it was also played out during Fulham FC’s live game at Craven Cottage to over 10 million people. We are planning bigger and better for next year so watch this space.

In case you’re missing some of our Jaguars UK Weekly shows on Sky Sports NFL, don’t worry, we have you covered!  Sign up to our Jaguars UK YouTube channel where we post clips from the show and special content made just for our UK and Republic of Ireland fan base. There’s currently an awesome round up of every touch down ever scored in the UK since we started playing games here over 10 years ago.  There are some great ones to watch!  Make sure you check that out and follow us on @jaguarsuk on YouTube.

Our annual summer player tour is always fun and something we all look forward to every year.   And while it seems like a long way away, it will be here before you know it.  We are gearing up to host some of our best players and plan a fantastic trip around the UK and Ireland, yes Ireland! Last year the guys and their guests had an amazing time, and we’ll work even harder this year to ensure this tour is the best yet!

You have probably seen that Pro Bowl voting is now open, and I encourage you to have your say in the final standings by following this link https://www.jaguars.com/pro-bowl-games/vote.  There have been some great performances this year by our Jaguars players with a few having standout seasons. But it is all down to your votes, so please vote for your favorite Jaguar.

And while you are casting votes, how about thinking of someone you can nominate as the Jaguars International fan of the year. https://www.nfl.com/honors/fan-of-the-year/gb   It could even be you! Voting closes on December 31st, so you need to be quick. The winner gets a trip to the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit!

The Jaguars UK team have had many conversations about how and what we can do better to engage our fan base in the UK and Ireland. We want to understand what activities or content you would like to see and get from us.  Please look out for a small survey in the new year that will ask for your feedback on what we do (or are not doing that we should) to support your fandom of the Jaguars. We are open to all suggestions, and no idea is a bad idea. We can’t guarantee we will be able to take on all your suggestions and feedback, but we are committed to listening and keeping communication open. There is now a form on our website which will give you the opportunity to comment on our events and activities in this market across the year. It’s now live, and you’ll find it here, so we look forward to hearing from you.

Finally, I would like to wish you and your families a happy, healthy holiday season, and I’m sure like me, you’re all hoping both Christmas Eve and New Years eve, bring us presents in the shape of a W.

Until next time,

#ItWasAlwaysTheJags!
