JAGUARS UK NEWSROOM

Hello and welcome to the Jaguars UK newsletter for June.

Since delivery of the last newsletter, we know that we will be playing a home game at Wembley on October 1st followed by a road game on October 8th – so not only two London games to be excited about, but also a ground-breaking first, a team playing back-to-back games outside of the US in the history of the National Football League.

Tickets for the Wembley fixture against The Bills are selling well with the general sale window coming up on Friday. Hopefully you will have been able to secure your tickets through the priority window given to Union Jax members, but if not, you’ll have another opportunity on Friday to ensure you get the best ticket in town and watch Coach Pederson’s (aka Pug Dederson) team build on last season’s successes.

We have had busy month preparing for this year’s summer player tour. Josh Allen, Devin Lloyd and Jamal Agnew are travelling to London at the end of June, accompanied by Tony Boselli, and they’re all really excited to be coming.  We have planned three UK Live events across three cities, so the guys get chance to see more of the UK and we can be more accessible to fans located countrywide.

We start the tour in London on Friday 23rd June in London at the Mermaid Theatre located in the city. SKY SPORTS NFL anchor Neil Reynolds will be the host for the evening, which will be a fun event full of insights from the players and lots of great footage of their key playing moments. There will be something for everyone to enjoy, and we are also delighted to partner with the NFL Players Association as our co-host for the night.  The NFL Players Association, are bringing some special guests, namely Michael Gallup of the Dallas Cowboys and Gabe Davis from our opponents at Wembley, the Buffalo Bills.

From London we travel to Liverpool to meet and work with some young people at our JAGTAG community event. Our Live event will be held at Shooters Bar, which is part of the Bierkeller in Central Liverpool, you won’t want to miss the guys appearing for the first time in Liverpool, in a great fun and informal bar setting in one of the UK’s most vibrant Cities.

We finish the tour in Belfast and host the final evening of entertainment at the MAC Theatre in Central Belfast, another great location for our event. The guys will also participate in more community activity before heading back to London and, of course, have time to see some sights along the way.

All tickets for the events are now on sale, so follow the links and hopefully we will see you on the 2023 Annual Jaguars Player Tour, and if not make sure you are signed up to all of our social channels so you can get behind the scenes footage of our stars on the road.

“You may have read that we have now been granted official rights in the Republic of Ireland.  We are very excited for this new opportunity. Our owner is committed to growing the sport of American Football far and wide and we can now include the Isle of Island in our plans. We aim to deliver grass roots activity and community initiatives along with fan events. We want to get to know our fans and start to build a great relationship across the whole of Ireland.   Check out Tony Boselli talking about this new commitment and Jaguars expansion on YouTube, which is also included in this newsletter in case you missed it.

This year is already incredibly busy, we have welcomed two new sponsors in National Express and Seat Unique, both of which offer great packages for our home game at Wembley in October, and we are working on other exciting projects that we’ll keep you informed of, so there’s lots more to come – stay tuned!
