JAGUARS NEWSLETTER JUNE 2024

Hello, welcome to the Jaguars UK newsletter.  We have a lot to share this month!

You will all have seen the exciting news that we are playing the New England Patriots at Wembley Stadium on Sunday October 20 and tickets are selling fast! As a thank you, we were able to freeze the price on thousands of tickets from 2023. All remaining game tickets that weren’t held exclusively for access by the Union Jax data base and other loyal groups, are available to purchase now.  We expect a sell-out crowd at Wembley again this Fall!

Plans are underway already to make this a fantastic event and a truly authentic American Football experience in the UK, so we can’t wait to see you there.

Next up this month is the annual Summer Player Tour, and we will welcome Linebacker Foye Oluokun, 2024 Pro-bowl selection Ross Mastick who will be joining Jags Hall of Famer and UK regular, Tony Boselli.  The players will take a trip around the UK and Ireland, meeting fans, participating in community events, and seeing the sights.  We even have the guys traveling by bus this Tour!

The fan events will be hosted by Sky Sports Neil Reynolds, who makes the evenings casual and interactive with facts, chat and games, and a lot of fun – his banter with Tony B is also great to watch! This year we head to Bristol, Manchester and Dublin and hope to see many of you on the road. Tickets for these events are selling fast, so make sure you don’t miss out and secure your place by following this link: eticketing.co.uk/jaguars; the proceeds from Tour ticket sales will go to our Union Jax Foundation and help to deliver more JagTag and community engagement activities all over the country.

As always, the Union Jax Foundation has been busy with events across the country. From Draft in late April, clinics with Ben Koyack, all girls JagTag in Belfast, to the making of the first ever UK based season schedule release video staring our JagTag kids participating in our Foundation programs across the UK and Ireland. You can catch up on all things Foundation by clicking the link on the newsletter home page.

As you know, we have a great sponsor in LGT Wealth Management US who fund the Gridiron Grant scholarship programme, applications for this one-of-a- kind opportunity are now closing, and the selection process will begin soon.  More to come on that in the coming months.

What’s a partnership with the Jaguars without a Flag football tournament!  Employees and friends of the Jaguars, Fulham FC and LGT Wealth Management US participated in a flag tournament in London on  15th May. LGT Wealth Management US hosted 14 teams competing to raise money for The Childhood Trust and the London Warriors programme. The event raised over £10,000 and a fantastic day was had by all as you can see here: “LGT Flag Football 2024 – Highlights” (lgt-cloud.com).

Another first for the UK team was the launch of our very own podcast, TealTalk – the official UK and Ireland podcast debuted last month and has been really well received, not just here but across the pond too. TealTalk – the official UK and Ireland podcast will air monthly until the start of the season when it will become available weekly – from your podcast provider of choice! We’ll also have an edit on YouTube that you can watch which will be great for the interview segments.  You’ll see interviews from key Jaguars players, staff, fans, and followers from the US and UK.  Get all the behind-the-scenes news first on Teal Talk! Your feedback is welcome, so feel free to let us know what you thought of our first episode.  We specifically set out to make this a podcast for the fans in the UK and Ireland, so we’re excited to make it exactly what you want to listen to!

We will be posting daily while we are on tour so even if you can’t make the events, you will still be able to see exactly what’s going on and feel part of the action. The tour is a big part of being able to bring Jacksonville and the players to our loyal supporters, which showcases the Jags as really being the UK and Ireland’s team.

Until next time,

#ItWasAlwaysTheJags!
