JAGUARS UK NEWSROOM

Luke Fortner

We have had a fantastic month working hard on developing ideas to give you the best possible fan experiences throughout the year.  Firstly, welcome to our new website, which we have designed to enhance your user experience as we continue to bring more UK specific content and news to you.

Just this month, we did some exciting things on NFL DRAFT weekend.  We hosted a community grassroots football event with young JagTag participants, followed by an O-line clinic with an older age group in which Luke Fortner participated and shared his expertise.  Then, live from Craven Cottage, the home of Fulham Football Club, Luke Fortner, Jaguars starting center and Tim Ream, starting centerback for Fulham announced our 4th round DRAFT pick from the Riverside Stand.  This brought together two of our owner’s franchises and we were able to get some really cool content from Luke’s visit which you’ll find linked in the newsletter.

We are also delighted to officially announce the names of the players that will travel around the country this summer for our 2023 player tour. Josh Allen is back by popular demand, joined by Devin Lloyd and Jamal Agnew.  There will be exciting fan events in London, Liverpool, and Belfast and as soon as we have tickets on sale, and more information to share, you will be the first to know. The players are really looking forward to seeing more of the UK and meeting more of you, the fans.

Our Foundation has secured funding to expand delivery of its JagTag programme in Brent, so we can reach more young people and encourage healthier lifestyle choices through exercise and education.  We are incredibly grateful to WNST (Wembley National Stadium Trust) for its support and generosity in helping us grow Jag Tag so near to Wembley, our spiritual home.

AEW, also owned by the Khan’s will make its debut at Wembley Stadium this August.  For the first time in 30 years, wrestling makes its way back to Wembley.

You may have seen that we sent out our fan survey last month.  This will help us find out more about our UK fan base, and what you would like to see more of. If you haven’t already filled it in, please make sure you do so, there are lots of cool prizes to win.

Finally, we are edging closer to the exciting announcement of the official NFL season schedule and, of course, prior to that we will confirm our Wembley fixture date. This year is going to be truly special with many events planned to ensure you get the absolute best experience when the Jaguars are at home at Wembley stadium.
